Congratulations on Cluster of Excellence “Transforming Human Rights”

We warmly congratulate Prof. Dr. Katrin Kinzelbach, a valued member of the IMPRS-GM Teaching Faculty, on the outstanding achievement of the newly funded Cluster of Excellence “Transforming Human Rights” at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).

The cluster, funded through Germany’s Exzellenzstrategie, will receive substantial long-term support to investigate how human rights norms, institutions, and practices are transforming in response to global megatrends such as autocratization, the fragmentation of economic globalization, international migration, planetary environmental crises, and digitalization.

Prof. Kinzelbach serves as co-speaker of the cluster, marking a significant recognition of excellence in interdisciplinary human rights research. We are also pleased to congratulate our IMPRS-GM colleagues Dr. Dominik Müller and Dr. Anuscheh Farahat, who will contribute to the cluster as Principal Investigators.

We look forward to the important contributions and collaborations that will emerge from this exceptional cluster.
