Partner Institutions

The graduate school is the collaborative effort of four prominent institutions that have joined forces to pursue a shared vision. The Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Leipzig University and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg are recognized as leaders in the anthropological-oriented study of social dynamics. All partners have a long and successful history of collaboration in research and research education. The IMPRS will help to create further synergies between these four institutions.
